Private LessonsFive weeks, one hour a week, the same coach and the same group.
Each adult tennis clinic is a five-week series on public courts run with the township's parks and recreation department. Sessions are one hour, once a week, in a group of up to 16 players split across two courts with a certified coach. Every session mixes technique work, live-ball drills, conditioning and competitive point play, so you leave having hit hundreds of balls, not having listened to a lecture.
Beginner clinics start from the grip and build the forehand, backhand, serve and basic footwork. By week three you are rallying; by week five you can play a set. Intermediate and advanced clinics refine your strokes and add volleys, overheads, shot selection and doubles tactics, with match play every week. All Levels clinics split the courts by ability so couples and friends can register together.
Clinics run outdoors from spring through late fall in every town, with a few indoor winter options. If rain cancels a session, we schedule a make-up with the township and email the roster. Loaner rackets are available at every clinic and balls are provided, so you can try the sport before buying anything.
See All Adult Tennis ClinicsAdult tennis clinics are $140 to $180 for the five-week series depending on the town, with a resident rate in some townships. That is roughly $30 a session for coached group tennis on public courts, with no club membership, court fees or equipment required. Every program page shows the exact dates, time, level and price before you register, and a clinic that does not reach its minimum is cancelled with a full refund.
