QUESTIONS

What Coaches Ask Us

Do I need coaching experience or a certification?

No — we certify you ourselves. Every coach completes our certification training and becomes a Universal Rackets Certified Pro before leading a clinic. If you play regularly and you are good with people, we can teach you the rest.

How many hours a week is it?

Most coaches run one to three clinic blocks a week, usually 1 to 3 hours each, evenings and weekends. You will know your schedule weeks in advance.

Where would I coach?

At the location closest to you. We run programs across the Philadelphia suburbs, the Jersey Shore, Texas, and Florida, and we match coaches to nearby courts.

Do I need my own equipment?

No. We provide all the coaching equipment — paddles, balls, and everything else you need to run a clinic.

Is this full-time?

No — our coaching roles are part-time, roughly 3 to 15 hours a week depending on your availability and the season. Most of our coaches have a day job, a business, or a family, and coach because it is the best few hours of their week.

What happens after I apply?

We read every application and reply personally, usually within a day or two. If it looks like a fit, we set up a quick call.

One thing before you apply: our coaching roles are part-time, roughly 3 to 15 hours a week, in person at our courts. If you're looking for a full-time position, this isn't that — but if you want the best few hours of your week, keep going.
